DuPont Advanced Printing (DuPont) will feature the newest DuPont™ Artistri® dye sublimation inks as part of its broad textile ink portfolio during the Fespa trade show in Hamburg, Germany, from May 8 – 12, 2017 in hall B6, booth C120.
During the show, DuPont will showcase DuPont™ Artistri® Xite S1500 dye sublimation ink and preview DuPont™ Artistri® Xite S2500, the newest offering in its growing dye sublimation portfolio. Xite S2500 is a mid-viscosity dye sublimation ink for printing on polyester textile substrates and expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2017. Xite S2500 will offer superior product consistency, jetting reliability and color print performance. DuPont has combined more than 70 years of innovation and expertise in textile fibers with its extensive knowledge of inkjet inks to develop an innovative family of inks for digital textile printing.
Balaji Srinivasan, marketing manager, Europe Middle East & Africa, DuPont Advanced Printing said: “Our Artistri® dye sublimation inks not only deliver outstanding color saturation, but also demonstrate productivity benefits through excellent jetting characteristics and superior batch-to-batch consistency.”
In addition to the Artistri® Xite S1500 and S2500 offerings for roll-to-roll customers, DuPont will showcase Artistri® Brite inks for the direct-to-garment (DTG) customers. Artistri® Brite inks include the next generation of DTG digital ink technology for saturated color and production speed. They are specially designed for DTG decorators and fulfillment houses who want to move to industrial digital printing but need a faster, more reliable process that provides high quality and repeatability.
The textile ink portfolio is available for a wide variety of printheads, from low to high viscosity. Artistri® Xite inks feature recently launched pigment inks which achieve greater color with improved workflow efficiency and reduced environmental footprint over alternative printing technologies.
“With our new product offerings, we continue to deliver on our vision to be a trusted innovation partner, enabling our customers to grow and outperform their competition in the packaging and printing markets,” said Bernd Daiber, business director, Europe, Middle East & Africa, DuPont Advanced Printing.
